Ghurur is the calm of the heart on things that are in accordance with the lust and the submission of character to it due to the disguise of Satan.
الغرور هو سكون النفس إلى ما يوافق الهوى ويميل إليه الطبع بسبب شبهة شيطانية
Ghurur yaitu tenangnya hati pada perkara yang cocok dengan nafsu dan tunduknya tabiat padanya yang di sebabkan penyamaran syaitan.
Ghurur is the calm of the heart on things that are in accordance with the lust and the submission of character to it due to the disguise of Satan.
وهو نوعان: ىالأول غرور أهل الكفر الذين اشتروا الحياة الدنيا بالآخرة
Ghurur menjadi dua macam :
yang pertama ; tertipunya orang-orang kafir yang membeli kehidupan dunia dengan menjual akhirat.
Ghurur is of two kinds:
The first ; deceived the disbelievers who buy the life of this world by selling the hereafter.
فمنهم من سكن إلى الدنيا وزخرفها وأنكر البعث هو إحياء الله تعالى الخلق بعد موتهم
Termasuk golongan orang kafir,orang yang tenang dengan dunia dan hiasannya. Ia mengingkari ba’ats,yaitu Allah hidupkan kembali makhluk dari kematiannya.
Including the group of disbelievers, people who are calm with the world and its decorations. He denied ba'ats, that is, Allah raises the creature from the dead.
ومنهم من اغتر بسيادته فى الدنيا فظن أنه على فرض الميعاد والرحمة يكون أولى بهما
Termasuk golongan orang kafir, orang yang tertipu dengan kepemimpinannya di dunia. Dia mengira karena melaksanakan keharusan menepati janji dan mengasihi, ia menjadi lebih utama karenanya.
Including the group of disbelievers, people who are deceived by their leadership in the world. He thought that because he carried out the obligation to keep promises and love, he became more important because of it.
الثانى: غرور العصاة من المؤمنين
Yang kedua tertipunya pelaku maksiat dari kalangan orang yang beriman.
The second is the deception of sinners from among the believers.
فمنهم من لم يعمل اغترارا بسعة عفو الله تعالى أو اعتمادا على طاعة الأباء أو على كثرة العلم
Sebagian dari pelaku maksiat orang yang tidak mau beramal kebaikan karena tertipu dengan luasnya ampunan Allah, karena bergantung pada ketaatan ayah-ayah mereka atau bersandar pada banyaknya ilmu.
Some of the perpetrators of sin are people who do not want to do good because they are deceived by the extent of Allah's forgiveness, because they depend on the obedience of their fathers or rely on a lot of knowledge.
ولم يدر الأول أن الرغبة فى الشيء من غير أخذ فى أسبابه طمع مذموم
Orang yang pertama tidak mengetahui bahwa senang pada sesuatu tanpa mengambil sebab-sebabnya itu adalah ketamakan yang tercela.
The former does not know that to take delight in something without taking into account its causes is despicable covetousness.
ولم يذكر الثانى قوله تعالى يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ وَٱخۡشَوۡاْ يَوۡمٗا لَّا يَجۡزِي وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِۦ وَلَا مَوۡلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِۦ شَيًۡٔاۚ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡغَرُورُ
Dan orang yang kedua tidak ingat firman Allah Swt.: “wahai manusia bertaqwalah kepada tuhan kalian dan takutlah pada suatu hari yang mana orang tua tidak bisa menolong anaknya dan anak tidak bisa menolong orang tuanya sedikit pun. Sesungguhnya janji Allah itu hak, maka janganlah menipu kalian kehidupan dunia dan janganlah menipu kalian dalam (mentaati) Allah tipu daya syetan. ( QS. luqman 33)
And the second person does not remember the word of Allah SWT: "O people, fear your Lord and fear a day when parents cannot help their children and children cannot help their parents in the slightest. Verily, the promise of Allah is the right, so do not deceive you in the life of this world and do not deceive you in (obeying) Allah the tricks of the devil. (Surah Luqman 33)
ولم يتنبه الثالث إلى أن العلم بلا عمل كالشجر بلا ثمر
Orang yang ketiga belum sadar bahwa sesungguhnya ilmu tanpa amal itu bagaikan pohon tanpa buah.
The third person does not realize that knowledge without charity is like a tree without fruit.
ومنهم من اغتر بكثرة عبادته فظن أنه أحق بالعفو من غيره ولم يدر أن هذا مذهب لإخلاصه مفوت لثواب أعماله
Di antara pelaku maksiat yaitu orang yang tertipu dengan banyaknya ibadah. Maka dia mengira bahwa dia lebih berhak untuk mendapatkan ampunan daripada orang lain. Dan tidak mengetahui bahwa hal ini bisa menghilangkan keikhlasan dan memutuskan pahala amalnya.
Among the perpetrators of immorality are people who are deceived by many acts of worship. So he thought that he deserved more forgiveness than anyone else. And not knowing that this can take away his sincerity and decide the reward of his deeds.
ومنهم من غرته كثرة المال فظن أنه بذالك يفوق غيره فمال إلى زخرف الدنيا ونسي فضل الله عليه
Di antara pelaku maksiat yaitu orang yang tertipu dengan banyaknya harta. Maka dia mengira bahwa dia dengan berlimpahnya harta bisa mengungguli orang lain, lalu ia cenderung menuju gemerlapnya dunia dan lupa akan anugrahnya Allah ta’ala.
Among the perpetrators of immorality are people who are deceived by a large amount of wealth. So he thinks that he with abundant wealth can surpass others, then he tends to the glitter of the world and forgets the grace of Allah ta'ala.
ومن معايب الغرور أنه يولد الكبر الذى سبق أنه يمنع صاحبه دخول الجنة
Termasuk jeleknya sifat ghurur itu bisa menimbulkan sifat kibr (sombong), yang telah terdahulu (penjelasannya) bahwa sesungguhnya sifat kibr itu menghalangi pelakunya masuk surga.
Including the bad nature of ghurur can lead to kibr (arrogance) nature, which has been previously (explanation) that in fact the kibr character prevents the perpetrator from entering heaven.
